Blair Nicholls

An Actuary by background, Blair Nicholls felt that he could add more value on the ‘doing’ side rather than the ‘theoretical side – hence his involvement with a variety of start-ups. Starting with nothing and creating a valuable business is something Blair finds extraordinarily satisfying. He cautions though, that it is not for everyone as the ‘chaos’ can be quite challenging and confronting.
One thing that motivates Blair is the belief that there are a lot more opportunities to do things for yourself and that entrepreneurs will do well in this current insurance environment – particularly those willing to back themselves, take risks, and do so in a methodical fashion.
